Herd Freed Hartz in the Kitchen

This week the Herd Freed Hartz team got together at The Pantry to learn some new cooking skills from our amazing instructor, Jee Hye Kang.

As a team event, I highly recommend a lesson at The Pantry, so long as you’re comfortable enough to be around coworkers wielding very large, very sharp knives. Fortunately, we all like each other at HFH, and no recruiters were harmed during the making of this meal. It probably helped that our instructor wisely withheld the wine until the meal was almost ready.

We opted for a lesson on Seoul Street Food which I personally didn’t know a whole lot about. Full disclosure, I struggle with any recipe that has more than 5 or 6 ingredients, and these were some pretty complicated recipes. But Jee Hye was a terrific instructor, breaking down and explaining each step and giving us a lot of space and grace to be imperfect in our execution.
