Ryan brings with him over 18 years of success in recruiting, spanning various industries and functional roles. Joining Herd Freed Hartz in 2017, he leverages his extensive network in the Northwest and his innovative approach to deliver rapid and comprehensive executive search outcomes, particularly in today’s competitive job market. Acting as an ambassador for both clients and candidates, Ryan helps organizations stand out by telling their unique story.

Before joining Herd Freed Hartz, Ryan held the position of Vice President at Allen Partners, where he drove strategy spearheading full-cycle recruiting and business development initiatives for clients in finance, technology, retail, and manufacturing sectors.

A graduate of Purdue University, Ryan initially ventured into the hospitality industry, refining his customer service and recruitment skills. Outside his professional pursuits, Ryan dedicated his time to being a Big Brother as well as volunteering his expertise in recruitment and fundraising by serving on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound.

Originally from the Midwest, by way of Chicago and Indiana, Ryan resides in Seattle with his wife and their two sons enjoying family time and being involved in all their kids’ sporting activities.
