Betsy Hail – Chief Operations Officer @ Neighborcare Health
Our Herd Freed Hartz executive search team was honored to partner with Neighborcare Health on a nationwide retained search to find their new Chief Operations Officer.
Neighborcare is one of the largest Federally Qualified Health Centers in the country, and the largest in Seattle, providing primary medical, dental and behavioral health care services for low-income and uninsured families and individuals, seniors on fixed incomes, immigrants, and people experiencing homelessness. Neighborcare treats ~60,000 patients annually across ~30 non-profit medical, dental and school-based clinics, located in neighborhoods where health disparities are the greatest. The passionate, dedicated care teams, who speak over 55 languages and dialects, are as diverse as the patients they serve, and no one is turned away due to insurance status or inability to pay.
No matter who you are, or where you come from, regardless of your insurance, income or immigration status, you are welcome at Neighborcare Health.
Neighborcare Health’s Mission: To provide comprehensive health care to families and individuals who have difficulty accessing care; respond with sensitivity to the needs of our culturally diverse patients; and advocate and work with others to improve the overall health status of the communities we serve.
“Betsy’s experience in overseeing the complex operations of clinics in multiple locations will greatly benefit Neighborcare’s network of sites that serve diverse patients facing a multitude of barriers to accessing care,” stated Rashad A. Collins, Neighborcare Health CEO. “I am also confident that her commitment to and history of supporting care teams in providing high-quality care will propel our efforts to improve outcomes for our patients.”
“I joined Neighborcare Health because its mission and vision align with my purpose and passion,” said Betsy. “I was looking for an opportunity to use my skills and talents to serve a more diverse patient population in underserved communities. With Neighborcare Health’s focus on integrated, whole-person care, I can be part of supporting community well-being which we all need to thrive.” See more in the COO placement announcement.
