Our Herd Freed Hartz executive search team was honored to partner with Paramount Hotels / Hilton on a retained executive search to find their new Corporate Director of Finance.
Paramount Hotels is an independent, family-owned boutique hotel group with properties in Seattle, Portland, and Maui. With legacy properties in prime downtown locations, Paramount delivers timeless service and amenities with a modern, artful boutique twist.
The leadership team brings deep experience from top hospitality brands, including Waldorf Astoria (NYC), W Hotels, Hilton, Kimpton, Pyramid Hospitality, Four Seasons, Marriott, and other leading boutique hotel operators.
In addition to its current portfolio, Paramount has significantly expanded in Hawaii with the completion of a $100M expansion of The Maui Coast Hotel in 2025 and two new Hilton-flagged hotels currently under construction (expected completion 2027). The company also owns and operates MasterPark, a 6,000-stall parking facility at SeaTac Airport.
On the executive leadership team, Matthew Olson, President and second-generation family owner, focuses on new property development and works closely with Kyle Asher, Chief Operating Officer, who oversees hotel operations and strategy.
Hilton SeaTac Airport Hotel & Conference Center
In April 2026, Paramount Hotels acquired this 400-room hotel featuring 40,000 square feet of conference and banquet facilities, an outdoor pool, and restaurant. Located directly across from SeaTac Airport and steps from the SeaTac Link Light Rail Station, the property attracts corporate travelers, airline crews, convention attendees, and leisure guests.
This hotel will undergo a $30M revitalization over the next year, positioning it as the premium airport hotel in the market. This is a rare opportunity to reimagine the property, elevate service standards, and deliver a more refined, boutique-style experience while maintaining the operational scale of a full-service airport hotel.
